Key Responsibilities

A candidate will be responsible for delivery of work including:

- Understand and Transform, improve client expectations into business/technical requirements

- Responsible for requirement gathering and documenting them into a structured requirement document

- Responsible for executing model related activities for risk models used by the client

- Ensures model development, monitoring, and validation approaches meet regulatory expectations and clients risk management needs

- Co-ordinating model validation activities for credit risk/market risk

- Provides analytical or risk measurement support to help meet both clients internal and regulatory requirements

- Supports development of comprehensive documentation and testing of risk management framework

- Serves as a key subject matter expert and mentor fellow team members

- Design and implement Risk Data Governance Framework adhering to regulatory requirements

- Support the client and technology team in implementing Risk Data Governance Framework and Risk Data Management

- Responsible for KPI definition, monitoring/stewardship and SLA management of Risk Data

- Identify, assess and manage data quality risks as part of overall risk management framework

- Support the design, build and maintenance of data architecture and IT infrastructure that fully supports risk data aggregation capabilities and risk reporting practices

- Responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects, coordination between client and internal offshore teams and manage client queries

- Risk management reports should be accurate, precise and cover all material risk areas

- Understand and Transform, improve client expectations into business/technical requirements

- Demonstrate high attention to detail, should work in a dynamic environment whilst maintaining high quality standards, a natural aptitude to develop good internal working relationships and a flexible work ethic

- Responsible for Quality Checks and adhering to the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) / Turn Around Time (TAT)

Candidate Profile

- Candidates should have a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Math/Computer Science/Statistics/Economics

- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working with client stakeholders

- Experience in regulatory engagement, regulatory reporting and/or addressing regulatory requirements e.g. Basel III, CRD IV, BCBS directives (esp. 239 & 265), FRTB

- Experience with Credit risk domain and understanding of Probability of Default, Recovery Rates, Fixed Income Sec. and Migration Matrix

- Experience in Credit risk process for developing and maintaining credit pre-approval and limit policies, audit test & control groups, providing statistical support for credit analysis, and evaluate results

- Experience in Market Risk processes and methodologies including VAR & exposure calculations

- In-depth Market Risk knowledge covering historical simulation, VaR, ES, sensitivity analysis, stress testing and risk explain.

- Excellent understanding / exposure to financial instruments like Derivatives, Options, Futures, Forwards, Forex, Swaps, Money Market, Bonds, Equities, etc.

- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to data governance principles and practices, financial market data contractual requirements, and banking regulatory compliance.

- Experience in Model Review and Validation and other Market Risk models

- Experience in model validation, implementing standards per Feds SR 11-7 and governance structure

- Experience in adaption to risk data aggregation best practices

- Knowledge of controls surrounding risk data governance, risk assessments, risk measurement, risk monitoring and risk management and regulatory risk reporting

- Knowledge of Risk Management methodologies, regional regulatory and compliance frameworks and data classification standards

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Extremely strong organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

- Strong track record of excellent results delivered to internal and external clients

- Experience in Business process mapping

- Good to have an understanding on IFRS9, CCAR & CECL

- Good to have working knowledge on any Business Process Mapping tools like Nintex ProMapp, LucidChart, Kissflow, etc.

- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential

- Able to work independently without the needs for close supervision and also collaboratively as part of cross-team efforts

- Experience with delivering projects within an agile environment

- Experience in project management and team management
