Job Purpose

To become a part of Acuity's growing equity research team in Gurgaon as a senior member to manage and drive this growth. The candidate will lead and supervise multiple research support teams of investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private wealth managers and similar such firms globally

Key Responsibilities

- Manage, supervise, and grow a team of over 15 experienced professionals, and handle end-to-end delivery operations of financial research and analytical projects for sell-side and buy-side firms

- Structure projects, manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure - high client satisfaction-

- Candidate should have the zeal and thought leadership to identify opportunities to grow existing teams and also generate leads and ideas for new client acquisition or new service areas. Contribute to organizational and team development goals

- Responsible for preparing, managing, and executing various analysis including but not limited to industry studies, detailed financial modeling, sector and company research reports, detailed company profiles, and investment analysis through in-depth secondary research across multiple industries

- Lead competitive research pilots and projects, and convert them into regular client opportunities

- Build strong and meaningful client relationships to drive business growth

- Responsible for fostering an open and development-oriented team environment. Involve in hiring and providing for training and development needs of the team.

Key Competencies :

- MBA/ CFA/ CA or equivalent

- Relevant 8+ years of experience in an Investment research division of a bank, boutique firm, KPO, consultancy, or advisory firm. 4+ years of team management experience

- Strong analytical skills to assess and understand project requirements and understanding of various sector nuances

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and work seamlessly in an unstructured environment

- The candidate should be a self-starter and should be able to work independently

- MS Office skills - Expertise in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word. Understanding of key financial databases like Bloomberg and FactSet
