Actuarial Role - Pricing - Life Insurance

1. Lead a group of Prophet coder and testers

2. Ensure the integrity of the actuarial models

3. Ensure that coding standards are followed

4. Develop test cases and conduct testing of various scenarios

5. Work closely with the model developers and model users within Global Actuarial Modelling (GAM) and throughout MetLife

6. Ensure changes and issues are understood and well communicated

7. Strive for a fine balance between complexity and maintainability

8. Provide leadership by supporting the team with any queries related to GAM or other actuarial concepts

9. Improve overall technical and managerial capabilities of the team by setting up the right programs and structures

10. Contribute to overall actuarial capability at GOSC by participating in leadership groups like strategic initiative group, Vanto & Leadership group

11. Suggest meaningful career paths for all staff and participate in company-wide programs like rotations and MIARP

12. Drive organization initiatives like LEAN and CMMI

13. Effectively manage and load balance the team
