Actuarial Pricing Role - Life Insurance

Role Summary:

This position will be responsible for:

- Product Pricing & Filing

- Handle product management related activities

- Collaborate with Business teams to understand the product needs

- Study market and bring in Market Intelligence in terms of product features & product strategies.

Key Focus areas: The key focus areas are:

- Conduct new product pricing feasibility

- Developing excel model for carrying out pricing of products.

- Responsible for filing of the products and responding to IRDAI queries

- Maintenance of models and documents in organised way

- Collaborate with Reinsurer and with various internal departments (UW, marketing, legal etc)

- Monitor profitability of products and convey the results to key stakeholders

- Be up-to-date on Regulations - Review and maintenance of Regulations

- Develop/Review product related calculators before sharing with the system's team

- Attending to product related queries from internal stakeholders.

Qualifications & Competencies:

- 5 + years of relevant work experience in Actuarial Pricing team of a life insurance company.

- 6+ papers cleared (CT1, CT5 or CM1 mandatory)

- Software - MS. Office & VBA(mandatory) + SQL basics

- Having good hold on preparing presentations for effective communication
