Job Summary

- To develop and execute marketing plans developed for the market in order to meet targets for sales Volume, market Shares, and distribution.

Job Description:

1. To develop a suitable marketing strategy and action plan consistent with the share and volume objectives of the business.

2. To liaise with the larger regional marketing team in order to ensure that regional and local marketing and promotional activity is consistent with national and international brand image and values.

3. To monitor the field marketing budget for its effective utilization and undertake course-correction if required.

4. Develop and implement a suitable merchandising strategy for the market - in consultation with the Marketing Managers for the entire portfolio of products and brands.

5. To liaise with the national sales teams to ensure effectiveness of consumer promotions, develop appropriate benchmarks and implement a framework for assessing the effectiveness.

6. To manage relationships with appropriate agencies and key accounts for organizing events consistent with the company/brand's image in the course of conducting various consumer/ trade promotions.

7. Assist in and co-ordinate national level market research activities in co-ordination with various stakeholders.

8. To participate and be involved in the key decision-making for the regional management.

9. Data management and sharing with sales team, Sales head, RMM and RH (mainly for activation, PR assets etc)

INTERACTIONS

INTERNALLY:

- With Marketing/ Activation for planning and execution of Promotions, installation and maintaining of signage.

- State/Territory Marketing Heads for guidance and approvals

- With the Zonal Marketing for systems/ formats

EXTERNALLY:

- Create and maintain relations with high net worth individuals/ opinion leaders who are either consumers/ potential consumers

- Maintain healthy relationship with the various vendors

PROFILE DETAILS

QUALIFICATION:

- Preferably an MBA in the age group of 26-31 with 3-7 years of experience in the FMCG/Telecom/FMCD or Beverage industry.

EXPERIENCE:

- Proven track record in marketing activities

- Ability to train the DSM/ 3rd party

- Analytical ability: analyze market data

- Ability to liaise at all levels internally and externally

- Good administrative skills

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS:

- Flexible and creative

- Exceptional social and communication skills, well groomed, with a pleasing personality

- An individual with high energy and enthusiasm

- Willing to travel extensively
