Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in entrepreneurship or start-up advisory services

Job Responsibilities:

A typical day on the job is likely to involve the following:

- Selecting and onboarding social entrepreneurs to the program

- Helping the social entrepreneurs with the business development efforts and fundraising

- Building a mentor network

- Engaging with the social impact start-up ecosystem and relating partners/government agencies.

- Planning and conducting mentoring sessions and other programs such as AFI Huddle

- Engage with the US and UK based AFI chapters and leverage Indian diaspora communities for scaling the impact of our social entrepreneurs

- Working with SEs to create webinars in relevant topics

- Establish a system whereby a pool of service providers are empanelled with AFI to add value to the SE community

- Building an online portal to facilitate interactions between social entrepreneurs and various ecosystem stakeholders (Whatsapp, FB groups, Google groups, LinkedIn, etc..)

- Envisioning & oversight of the marketing/PR assets related to the initiative (website, social media, presentations, etc..)

- Assisting in drafting / reviewing MoUs / LoIs with the entrepreneurs / mentors / partners

Key Deliverables:

- On-board 20 social entrepreneurs into the network by Dec 2020 after a rigorous selection process

- Reach out to professional across the world, and on-board 10 mentors by Dec 2020

- Commence the first round of mentor engagements with at least 5 SEs and 5 mentors by Dec 2020

- On-board Subject Matter Experts (4-5) and conduct 6 webinars for the SE network by Mar 2021

- Conclude investment funding/market access/grants/CSR funding for 2 SEs by Mar 2021

You- ll excel in this role if you possess the following Skills and Attributes:

1. Passion for pursuing a career in the domain of social impact

2. Effective and strong network building capabilities to establish relationships with the various stakeholders and startups

3. Good understanding of the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in India preferably Education, Healthcare and Agriculture sectors

4. Good interpersonal communication, organizational, and written communication particularly with social media

Qualification: undergrad degree (Business / Engr.) + management graduate
