Role Description

- Initiate searching of the premises as per the business plan.

- Employee Relations - Apply conflict management skills to facilitate resolution when associate-to-associate or manager-to- associate conflict arises. Investigate (interview, gather evidence, consult legal) allegations of employee misconduct including harassment, discrimination, etc. Guide management on disciplinary and termination procedures. Engage company attorney for counsel when necessary.

- Compliance, Policies & Procedures - Work with legal to ensure legal compliance. Act as liaison to governmental compliance agencies as required. Ensure consistent application of policies/procedures including but not limited to recruiting, training, reward & recognition and associate development.

- Change Management - Challenge the status quo and champion new initiatives within assigned client groups. Lead cross functional strategic change projects to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

- Performance Management - Drive the Performance Management process within assigned client groups. Work with managers and associates to identify and address performance related issues. Provide coaching and support to managers on corrective action items including performance improvement plans and discipline issues.

- Reporting - Write, change and distribute reports to HR and other department management as required.

- General Support - Enter employee data timely in HRIS system. Create and maintain personnel files ensuring legal compliance. Process invoices. Perform timely exit interviews and record data to be analyzed for retention purposes. Coordinate unemployment responses

- Develop and maintain an effective level of understanding of the Company and its human resources needs

- Foster a culture of teamwork and respect through effective coaching and implementation of Company standards and guidelines working with site HR Generalists

- Acts as a collaborative change agent and operational lead during acquisitions, expansions, contractions and reorganizations. Deals with unique situations requiring specialized knowledge

Qualifications:

Work Experience

- 7 to 12 years of relevant experience in HR domain in a large to mid sized orgnaisation, should be from a Premier B-School

- Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to prioritize in a highly fast-paced environment

- Significant experience in supporting multiple locations with effective skills in employee relations, organization development, performance management, talent assessment, workforce planning, leadership development and communications

- Supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.

- Demonstrated analytical, communications and problem solving skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience/training in developing organizational structures, designing compensation programs, training and development and talent assessment preferred.

- Demonstrated acumen in project management, leading in a collaborative nature, managing multiple priorities and strategic thinking needed.

- Personal characteristics including professional presentation and style, flexibility and resilience and dedication to service excellence.
