Job Purpose: The person will be working with the Manager / Senior Manager - Internal Audit.. Essential to have experience and knowledge of finance and non-finance audit processes and procedures. This person would be responsible for audit of finance as well as other operational teams. The Audit Lead will required manage the project and the teams aligned. Job Responsibilities/ Duties: The Audit Lead will: - Lead and function as a team member, as appropriate or as required. Work with Manager / Senior Manager to determine the scope of review with the internal audit team. - Review the suitability of internal control, design and procedures. - Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. - Conduct audit testing of specified areas and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk. - Collecting data from different sources, maintaining the database and preparing reports. - Interpret data and analyze results. - Review working files and data prepared by the audit team members. - Take initiative looking into all the operational aspects of the business and working with the team to ensure that all issues are reported out accurately as per the scheduled time. - Determine the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the systems deployed. - Internal and external team process improvements and recommendations. - Determine compliance with policies and procedures. - Prepare audit scenarios and audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements. - Knowledge of Financial Processes. - Preparation of audit reports and co-ordination with process owners for closure of observations. - Establish working relationships with peers and seniors. - Audit assignments include but not limited to Process Audit, Compliance Audit, Receivables Audit, Payables Audit, and Financial Audit. - Check and inspect the accuracy of audit data as well as various accounting ledgers. - Technical skills to include sound knowledge of Excel and Oracle Financials.
