JD for Food Product Development (R&D) Candidate
Qualification and Experience :
- M.Sc in Food Technology or B. Tech in Food Technology with 10 - 12 years of experience or PhD with 4-6 years of experience
- R&D Candidate having 10 - 12 Yrs experience in developing various food products in categories - Nutraceutical products, extruded products, foods for special dietary requirement, nutritional supplements, bakery products, cereals, beverages.
- Must have experience in scaling up from R&D scale to large commercial production facility.
Scope of responsibilities :
- Applies scientific and engineering principles in research & development, market research, recipe optimization, regulatory, production technology (pilot & plant), packaging and processing
- New product development in Nutraceutical products, extruded products, foods for special dietary requirement, nutritional supplements bakery products, cereals, beverages
- Conducts shelf life studies on new products, flavor, texture and color measurement, rheological and physicochemical property evaluation, nutritional composition analyses and microbiological safety
- Responsible for food sensory evaluations for new/ existing product items and regulatory approvals.
- Develops and creates specification sheets for all new products, label reviews and health claim
- Evaluates and recommends alternate ingredients used in existing products
- Responsible for setting up lab setup & large commercial production process facility for various food products
