What we offer: - A dynamic team of co-workers who are passionate about innovating and disrupting the insurance industry in India - Opportunity to be part of an early stage high potential startup - Independence and ownership in both design and execution where conceptualisation to execution cycle is in weeks and not in months - A clean slate to build the people strategy in synergy with overall vision of the company What you will do at Acko: - Define the overall HR strategy spanning recruitment, employee engagement, training and performance management for Acko while working with the senior leadership team - Spearhead strategy to scale up technology team by building Acko as a preferred company among the talent pool - Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution; provide insightful data to guide decision making and proactive solutioning - Shape overall company culture to develop and manage a high performance organisation - Design organizational structures to support the required talent demand for smooth operations as per business plan - Partner with business to lead review processes with focus on performance management and talent development - Leverage and implement industry best practices in HR processes (Performance Management, Salary Planning/Reward Management, Succession Planning, Talent Management) - Ensure all back-end HR operations are managed well in terms of TAT, accuracy, frequency and compliance leading to seamless HR processes What we are looking for: - MBA/Masters in HR from Tier 1 colleges - XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD preferred, psychology from Tier 1 colleges will be considered too - 6+ years of HR experience in high-growth tech startup (Flipkart, Swiggy, Myntra etc.) preference for candidates who have been part of the organization during early growth phase - Minimum 3 years experience in managing technology team recruitment, engagement and retention, preferably as an HR BP for technology team - Go getter attitude with creative lateral thinking abilities - Ability to diagnose issues and influence solutions/outcomes - Highly motivated individual with an entrepreneurial drive to be part of an organization in its scale-up journey - Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills
