It integrates online and offline retail channels enabling automated Omni-channel fulfilment.   Director of Engineering - Software Development  Location: Bengaluru, India.  Responsibilities:  1) A passionate technologist and innovator responsible for delivering complex internet based solutions - on scale.  2) Provide technical leadership to the team on building and operating web-based applications having all layers of a web application.  3) Enable our customers on a modern, global, cloud-based, omni-channel commerce platform.  4) Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and process for regular assessment and improvement.  5) Design the technical architecture, create and deliver specifications for product development.  6) Communicate across functions and drive engineering initiatives.- Be an evangelist for technology & represent the company in external forums.  Skills:  1) 10+ Years of experience in Software Product Development, preferably in on-line. Degree in Computer Science or related field from a premier institute.  2) Strong technical background and experience in building next generation reference architectures and solutions.  3) Experience in large global and multi-channel environments, with experience in omni-channel strategy and execution.  4) Experience in distributed systems with excellent understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).  5) Good understanding of MEAN Stack (Mongo, Express, Angular and Node).  6) Experience using traditional RDBMS as well No-SQLs and messaging frameworks (Rabbitmq, Kafka etc.)  7) Good understanding of cloud technology, development, deployment, monitoring and support systems.
