Accounts Receivable Role - Private Equity Firm (1-5 yrs)
We are hiring for an Accounts Receivable role based with a Global MNC- Private Equity firm in Mumbai.
Location: Powai
Shifts: Night Shifts
Role and responsibilities:
Support all aspects of day-to-day activities and deliverables of the Accounts Receivable function, encompassing:
- Maintaining up-to-date billing system, posting revenues by verifying and entering transactions
- Preparing, verifying, and processingbilling statements and invoices to funds and portfolio companies for reimbursement of payments made by AGM on their behalf, and subsequently collecting and allocating payments
- Updating receivables balance by totaling unpaid invoices
- Obtaining information from other departments to ensure that records are accurate and complete, and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date
- Record cash received, drive resolution of charge issues, and lead inactivation of stale codes.
- Performing quarterly fund confirmation processes and account reconciliations to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted, and identifying and resolving any discrepancies
- Generating monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc reporting detailing paid/unpaid invoices and other accounts receivable activity
- Utilizing analytical skills to track accounts receivable performance metrics over time
