Accounts Head - CA - NBFC

Company : A leading NBFC of a Top conglomerate

Position : Head - Accounts

Location : Chennai

Qualification : C.A.

Proficiency : MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), Outlook & Visio

Experience : 7 - 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in an NBFC / BFSI.

- The position will be responsible for all facets of accounting and will be based out of the Corporate Office at Chennai.

- The position would report to CFO of the Company.

Accounting & Compliances :

- Ensuring the robustness of accounting systems to ensure that statutory, accounting and financial records are maintained for the company

- Ensuring compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, Principles and guidelines.

- Reporting and highlighting issues that need immediate attention of the operational, project and other management teams.

- Ensuring compliance to all systems and processes laid down for Finance, Accounts and taxation.

- Variance analysis of all accounts month on month and finding the gaps

- Monthly review of Balance sheet schedules.

- Monitoring and scrutinization of Accounts. Ledger Scrutiny.

- Should be well versed with Statutory compliances and all accounting laws.

Decision Support :

- Assist the CFO in development, revision and monitoring of various processes

- Financial and Business evaluation of various Operations related Initiatives

Requirements :

- Should be from listed company and working in Corporate Accounting.

- Should have Core and applied knowledge of Accounting.

- Good experience on the Interco accounting.

- Well versed with Books of Accounts.

- Well versed with the monthly reporting schedules .

Skills:

- Good Analytical Skills

- Excellent communication skills - Verbal and Written

- The competence to manage the entire accounting division.
