Designation : Accounting Specialist or Assist Manager Accounting
Job responsibilities:
General responsibilities:
- Management of account payable and receivables
- Budget tracking
- Keep records of all expenses and ensure proper coding for tracking purposes
- Produces regular report (monthly and quarterly) on spending vs. budget
- Propose budget management improvements
- Assist with budget forecasting
- Assist with business planning and scenario analysis
- Oversees petty cash & corporate credit card transactions
- Ensure timely payment of vendors through speedy invoice processing
- Manage the processing of all transaction documents
- Provide suggestions on policies and processes to improve accounting practice
- Manage reconciliation between bank statements and payment documents
- Provide occasional tax advice to management group
Requirement:
- 4 to 6 years of experience in book keeping
- Degree in accounting
- Expertise in MS Excel
- Financial or business analysis experience
- Attention to detail
- Respect for deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Self-starter with an ability to work independently
- Highly organized
