Essential Education and Experience :

- Team Management, Intercompany Accounting (10-15 years), Shared service experience, Qualified CA/CMA/ICWA

- Accountable for provision Intercompany services to relevant bp counterparties.

- Support the delivery of the Intercompany automation agenda and the delivery of associated efficiencies.

- Accountable for ongoing continuous improvement within their specific process team for Intercompany Hub activities.

- Support the transformation, development and implantation of the Group's Intercompany toolset.

- Support the delivery of deployment of GPDSs for Intercompany Hub activities

- Support the end-to-end close process activities for their specific process team, driving standardisation and providing transparency of status

- Support for provision of Balance Sheet Assurance preparation and review services in line the end-to-end global standard process and tools

- Operate a control process to monitor GPDS compliance within the Hub

- Work in partnership within GBS to ensure robust BCP plans at a process level are documented and maintained

- Operate an embedded control process to monitor transactional performance for their specific process team with the aim of consistently improving productivity, identifying risks and implementing improved processes.

- Perform senior stakeholder business relationship management based on a common GBSF framework for partner relationship management to ensure consistency of approach and quality of interactions for our partners

- Operate within functional ways of working designed to comply with group risk framework, BCP, E&C policy and HSSE policy

- Support the development of team members through training/coaching in delivery of day-to-day processes, process changes, system implementations and policy updates

- Ensure end to end desktop documentation, its accuracy and integrity is maintained across the team.

- Drive improved compliance to policy and use of mandated systems.

- Support all transition projects and ensure that processes and controls are in place to ensure no impact on day to day activities within the team or on the groups operational process.

Desirable Criteria :

- Demonstrated Intercompany trading experience

- Oil industry or relevant equivalent experience, preferably mid-career business experience.

- The post holder would require experience across different finance disciplines preferably in various business sectors. (e.g. Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Retail or Customer Services)

- Exposure to SAP (preferable)

- Strong business analytics experience

- Ability to - think on feet-, act decisively and make the informed decisions
