Accounting Manager - APAC (Gurgaon)

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage month end close process for assigned international entities, including reviewing and/or preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses, controls, and financial statements Collaborate with and manage third party outsourced accountants as applicable.

- Support the global monthly close process to ensure accurate and timely close, including consolidations and foreign currency accounting for international entities and global operations

- Oversee and support consolidated and year-end statutory audits, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards

- Support continuous improvement and scaling of our financial accounting processes, including implementation of systems and automation of workflows, to streamline and improve process over global close and internal reporting

- Be a liaison between accounting and other cross-functional teams, and partner with tax team on timely tax filings and compliance.

- Contribute to other strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

Basic Qualifications :

- 7+ years of experience in accounting with strong fundamental knowledge of US GAAP

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required with CPA/MBA preferred

- India accounting operations experience (including familiarity with compliance requirements) is strongly desired

- FX, CTA and consolidations experience.

- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system

Preferred Qualifications :

- 3 to 5+ years of experience accounting for international subsidiaries

- Knowledge of APAC accounting standards and compliance requirements (for entities such as Singapore, Australia, etc.)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail

- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with the team and across function

- Organized and able to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
