Accounting Controller - eCommerce (8-12 yrs)
Accounting leader for a leading MNC eCommerce giant in Bangalore
Key Responsibilities -
- Manage the monthly and quarterly close processes for operations and retail accounting teams
- Review and drive action on balance sheet schedules
- Lead statutory and internal audit on behalf of the Board and present findings as well as mitigating actions in annual risk reviews with the Board including standalone and consolidated financial statements
- Implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls (SPOs) for assigned processes including but not limited to stock delivery, vendor returns, liquidations and ensure accuracy in recording of these transactions;
- Manage controls in the area of order to cash and ensure accuracy in recording sales receipts and recording transactions of sales and related claims;
- Manage and supervise liquidation and return to vendors billing to ensure operational excellence. Work with business teams for improvement in realization rates.
- Provide operations accounting reports to business partners and confirm with monthly financial reviews with business partners.
- Define and monitor treasury plan, working capital requirement. work actively with business finance partners to ensure adequate availability of capital, oversee order to cash reconciliation, oversee vendor procure to pay process including reconciliations
- Lead banking relationships for the group including bill discounting, LCs, BGs, short-term investments etc.
Desired Profile:
CA / MBA - Tier 1 colleges
- 8-12 yrs of work experience
- Should have extensive experience in handling accounting, finance (Treasury), operations (Order to cash) and reporting processes (Record to Report).
- Should have strong technical GAAP accounting and hands-on experience in these areas to successfully analyze the organization's critical business requirements and develop innovative solutions to improve performance and reporting of financial results.
