About the job:

Education and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications such as CFA or CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) are an added advantage.

Experience:

- 2-5 years of experience in fund operations, investor services, or related roles in the financial services industry, especially focusing on private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investment funds.

- Proficient in working with fund subscription technology platforms, e-signature tools, and fund management systems.

- Familiar with subscription agreements, redemption processes, and various fund structures.

- Experience in KYC/AML compliance and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements in the Indian financial landscape.

Key Skills:

- In-depth knowledge of fund operations including document digitization, upload procedures, and workflow management.

- Strong understanding of KYC/AML policies and how they relate to investor onboarding and compliance processes.

- Skilled in using fund management systems such as SimCorp, Investran, or similar platforms.

- Strong ability to streamline processes, enhance workflows, and identify operational efficiencies.

- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with stakeholders including investors, fund managers, and administrators.

- Attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and timely execution of subscription and redemption transactions.

- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities:

- Digitize and upload subscription documents onto internal platforms in line with internal policies and compliance standards.

- Collaborate with both internal teams (Compliance, Risk, Legal) and external stakeholders (investors, fund managers) to ensure smooth operations of the subscription and redemption processes.

- Work closely with the compliance team to ensure the adherence of all processes to KYC/AML regulations.

- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate subscription and redemption workflows to improve efficiency.

- Maintain and update accurate investor records, ensuring proper documentation and tracking in line with regulations.

Competencies:

- Problem-solving ability: Able to identify inefficiencies and implement quick solutions.

- Strong team player with an ability to build positive working relationships.

- Ability to adapt to changes in regulations or technology platforms that impact fund operations.
