Account Manager - Online/Internet (5-8 yrs)

We are looking for an Account Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients. The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new business opportunities.

Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing business reports. Account Managers accountable for all client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, the account manager will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Adops team, programmatic team, product team, analytics team & other teams in the organization) to improve the entire customer experience.

Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our Adops team to achieve business success while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long-run.

CORE GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Role Objectives:

- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships

- Work in collaboration with AOC Adops team, and ensure the jobs are implemented

- Raise Immediate & accurate job tickets on Happy Fox for the Adops team to start the work

- Negotiate business and close agreements to maximize profits

- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement

- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. employee utilization etc.)

- Prepare reports on account status

- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

- Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers

- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors

- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives

- Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders

- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

- Enhance department and organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

- Responsible for keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis

- Liaise between the customer and internal teams

WORK EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role

- Proven account management or other relevant experience

- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level

- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills

- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

- 5+ years of marketing experience with agency background desirable

- Deep digital understanding

- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity

- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks

- Critical thinking and problem solving skills

- Understanding of Adops, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technology

- Excellent time and project management skills. You're always looking to improve inefficient processes

- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines

- Expert at Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, Salesforce and help desk support software
