Our Client is looking for an outstanding Account Manager for the Food industry to manage and contribute to attractive growth opportunities in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. You will report to the Food Industry Sales Manager and be part of an international network of highly skilled colleagues. If you appreciate a large degree of freedom in planning and mode of action in your work, this position will be ideal for you. Ideally the position is based in Bangalore, India.

Qualifications

- You have a university degree (e.g. chemical engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably related to the Food industry

- You are self motivated and have demonstrated sales, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as initiative and ability to work independently

- You must speak and write fluently in English.

Challenges

- You will develop our business in the Food industry, prospect and acquire new customers and develop existing ones according to plan

- You relish a technical oriented sales process and have a natural interest for understanding the technical aspects of your industry

- You will carry out commercialization of existing and products

- Ensure that price negotiations with customers are made in accordance with defined and agreed price strategies

- Provide superior regional customer support to ensure a high standard in technical, supply chain and commercial interactions between customers

- Willingness to travel about 40%.
