Job Title - Account Manager -Cards & Payments

Experience - 15 - 20 years

Education - University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, preferably with other professional qualifications

Job Location - Mumbai

Job Description:

Cards & Payments Head Location India Reporting to the Global Head and Vice President for Business Excellence for Banking and Financial Services (senior leadership role in Banking and Financial Services Vertical)

- 15 years + of banking experience with significant experience in Cards and payments

- Experience in Marketing is a definite advantage

- University degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline, preferably with other professional qualifications.

- Should be open to frequent travel within the US and also to India and Europe in some cases

- Must have worked in the Cards & Payments space extensively in technology and / or operations areas.

- This could be either directly working for a network, bank, payment processor, but preferably for an IT/ITes services provider. Should have deeper understanding of Cards & Payments processes and specific knowledge in functional areas within the Cards & Payments domain will be a significant advantage(e.g. Issuing, Acquiring, Switching etc.).

- Must have deep understanding of the industry and technology trends in the space.

- Understanding of products in the Cards and payments space Competency to build capability roadmap

- Ability to interact with deal advisory and analysts

- Must have good knowledge of business analysis and domain consulting engagements.

- Strong consulting skills will be a significant advantage in this role.

- Experience of working on proposals (RFP/ RFQ/ RFI) is desired Must be able to identify opportunities in the industry and also prioritize them based on specific criteria (such as quick wins etc).

- Should be able to handle major infrastructural developments; legal and regulatory issues, lobbying legislators and regulators on behalf of the industry; managing the card industry’s reputation; credit policy and data sharing
