Account Manager


Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

- Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Zoho Accounting Expertise:

- Utilize and optimize Zoho Accounting for all accounting functions, including invoicing, payments, and reporting.

- Maintain and update Zoho Accounting data to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Client Invoice Preparation:

- Prepare and issue accurate and timely client invoices based on contracts and service agreements.

- Manage client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Payments and Reconciliation:

- Process and reconcile payments from clients and to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Reconcile payments with invoices and contracts to maintain accurate financial records.

Vendor Management:

- Maintain a comprehensive vendor documentation repository.

- Manage vendor relationships, including processing payments and resolving inquiries.

Compliance and Taxation:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.

- Manage monthly and quarterly compliance requirements.

- Calculate and process direct and indirect tax payments (e., GST, TDS).

- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

External Coordination:

- Coordinate with external consulting firms for audits, tax filings, and other financial services.

Banking and Treasury:

- Coordinate with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and other banking activities.

- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.

Reporting and Approvals:

- Prepare and circulate financial reports to management.

- Manage the approval process for financial transactions and reports.

Accounts Receivable and Payable:

- Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring aging and resolving outstanding balances.

- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of vendor invoices.

Tax Management:

- Calculate and process tax payments accurately.

- Maintain detailed records of all tax-related transactions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 7-12 years of progressive experience in accounting roles.

- Proven expertise in Zoho Accounting.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Excellent understanding of direct and indirect taxation.

- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Experience coordinating with external auditors and tax consultants.

- Advanced excel skills
