The incumbent in this role would be in charge of all client service activities in events that pertain to specific clients and projects. The purpose is to drive the team business targets (top line) and profit contribution (GP) of a specific business unit and ensure delivery through a team of executives/sr execs/asst managers, while carrying the mantle of being a brand ambassador for OUR CLIENT.

Work typically includes client acquisition and management and project management to deliver as per the client’s objectives and set OUR CLIENT quality, CONSISTENTLY.

An Account Director is the hub that connects the Business Development, Creative and Operations teams. He/She is essentially the Client’s representative at the agency, and the Agency’s representative at the Client’s organization. Her /His role is to act as an interface between the Agency and the Client, and balance effectively the Client’s needs with the Agency’s goals.

As an Account Director, you will be responsible for the Agency’s ongoing relationship with a client/group of clients. You will also work closely with the Business Development, Creative and Operations teams to meet your client’s goals. You will lead a team of Account Managers & Executives in managing relationships with the client, as well as internal relationships for the accounts you manage.

- Pre-event and onsite communication on the projects with the Client directly.

- Responsible for Pitching, capturing the client need, structuring the event development plan and flawless execution within budgets that meet clients expectations.

- Research, Conceptualizing, leading all brainstorming ,Costing and filling up of project budget worksheet, ensure quality of execution within the timelines, planning and detailed checklists, event flows/scripts and manual

- Systematic maintaining of internal record and reports on all projects, ensuring client approvals on creatives and scripts, coordinating AV production, estimates and advances, briefing other teams/ vendors/artiste/ emcee/promoters appropriately.

- Pro active and constantly updating Business Head on projects and revenue targets, Weekly business & status reports to Business head.

Person Specifications

- Qualification – Minimum Graduation; MBA in Marketing, public relations, or a PG qual preferred.

- Years of Experience – 7-10 yrs based on quality and relevance of experience.

- Industry – Entertainment, Event Services and Media

Job skills & Competencies-

- Exceptional knowledge of the field of Experience Marketing – events, exhibits, launches, conferences, seminars, etc.

- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills, as well as presentation skills.

- Must be able to communicate the client’s needs clearly to the Creative and Operations teams, plan effectively to maximize staff time and energy, and present the agency’s recommendations to the client.

- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements

- The innate ability to diffuse any potential conflict situations.

- A passion to contribute to ideas in a team environment and an interest in building open, trusting client relationships.

- The ability to manage multiple projects independently.
