Role Purpose The purpose of the role is to drive, optimize and govern delivery management, build future capabilities (skills & IP) and drive innovation through automation and next generation technologies within a Delivery Unit to enhance customer satisfaction and lead growth. Do 1. Delivery Management a. Oversee seamless delivery of projects in the account - Establish and implement delivery processes and systems aligned to the overall CWMG (central workforce management group) and Delivery Excellence guidelines, policies and frameworks. - Drive and implement process improvement initiatives with own account to build effectiveness and efficiencies. - Collaborate and influence internal key stakeholders to manage and resolve issues to ensure fulfillment and flawless delivery of projects. - Monitor and review projects across various client Bus on various delivery parameters to ensure quality delivery as per budget and timelines. - Resolve escalations related to vertical/ account delivery - Review and drive appropriate actions/ systemic changes on internal and external audit findings to ensure no major non-compliances are cited. - Set up mechanisms within own account to share and consolidate best practices across verticals and projects. - Interact with the Geo Sales and Delivery leadership to track and review delivery b. Client Relationship Management - Map at key executive levels at client site and play an anchor role in delivery for Wipro relationship - Lead and support team during interaction with clients on project/ account review visits - Interact with client to defend proposals and showcase delivery capability - Partner with key clients to drive delivery transformation to adapt to new delivery models and instill new ways of working in customer organization c. Delivery governance across the accounts/projects - Monitor and review delivery dashboards/ MIS across account to track progress and identify potential red flags - Participate and share account performance across operational, quality and fulfillment parameters in Quarterly Business Reviews - Lead and manage complex project escalations, potential risks or early warning signs on project delivery to eliminate any revenue leakage - Review and monitor revenue allocations/ realization to avoid OB revenue leakage and Gross Margin/Cost management at the Delivery Unit level - As part of the ADH Council, provide strategic inputs to resolve current and potential delivery issues and develop relevant delivery policies. 2. Enable delivery led revenue growth of the SMU/SL - Develop the farming targets for the vertical and overall BU in conjunction with the vertical and SMU Leadership - Track and drive delivery led revenue growth focus across the verticals in the Delivery Unit through opportunity identification for deployment of new technology, growth solutions and services across the verticals. - Lead estimations on high value proposals (more than 1M USD) to support sales efforts. - Guide and support team on proposals and solutions to meet the needs of existing clients 3. Delivery Assurance (specifically for ADH in a SL DU) a. Drive and deploy effective technical solutioning and delivery management in SL - Engage in deal solutioning for complex programs involving multiple Practices to resolve conflicts and utilize synergy benefits - Provide input to PDHs/DMs in deciding pricing models for DU engagements to optimize cost of delivery - Review proposals / deals for effective delivery feasibility and provide solution and revenue (deal size) approvals to sales before sales can book an order - Monitor and Track solution delivery risks in key engagements. Provide necessary support to PDHs/DMs to mitigate delivery risks - Review Practice-wise and consolidated automation and re-usability indices, and impact on time to market - Setup a framework to facilitate sharing of best practices and learnings across Practices to benefit future deals - Regularly audit QA status of delivery, engage QA team if necessary, to ensure adherence to Quality Assurance standards and processes across SL delivery b. Lead Thought Leadership in the ER&D SL - Set practice-wise targets for point of views (POV's), white papers, technical papers on advanced topics to establish Wipro's authority in the domain - Socialize notable case studies and success stories with client, market and internal stakeholders - Support pre-sales and sales teams to provide delivery expertise in complex deal discussions 4. Operational Excellence a. Review and improve the overall effectiveness of the delivery in the SMU - Track and monitor data on key parameters such as Pyramid, fresher ratio, onsite ratio etc. - Drive initiatives across BU to manage and improve performance on these parameters such as localization, upskilling, competency development etc b. Automation Focus - Create and drive automation charter and related initiatives across the verticals in the Delivery Unit - Drive deployment of automation led solutions and service improvements to deliver value added services to the customers thereby driving customer's business forward - Build focus on and drive deployment of next generation hyper automation and crowdsourcing initiatives in coordination with Holmes ral automation teams to enhance productivity, quality and speed of delivery in the Delivery Unit c. Innovation Focus - Lead, develop and drive new ways of working (Agile, DevOps etc) and its capabilities within Delivery Unit to improve quality, delivery speed and productivity parameters - Inculcate new ways of working relevant to newer technologies and changing ways of working - Track, monitor and drive the development and deployment of IP driven solutions across verticals 5. Capability Development and Talent Pipeline Creation a. Review and monitor monthly demand forecasts, resource planning and fulfillment in line with business requirements and costs of delivery b. Drive localization in identified and key markets c. Lead upskilling initiatives across the account - Develop and drive initiatives in the Delivery Unit to deepen subject matter expertise in delivery leadership for consultative client solutioning. - Identify future skill and capabilities required and partner with competency group and talent transformation team to drive upskilling initiatives within a Delivery Unit - Lead and drive workforce transformation team to identify, assess and deploy multiskill upgradation model for Delivery Unit - Drive towards 100% mandatory training compliance for the target population within a vertical d. Fresher engagement program - Oversee engagements and initiatives focusses on assimilation and development of rookies within a vertical 6. Team Management a. Resourcing - Hire adequate and right resources for the team b. Talent Management - Ensure adequate onboarding and training for the team members to enhance capability & effectiveness - Build an internal talent pool and ensure their career progression within the organization - Manage team attrition - Drive diversity in leadership positions c. Performance Management - Set goals for the team, conduct timely performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to own direct reports - Ensure that the Performance Nxt is followed for the entire team d. Employee Satisfaction and Engagement - Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team - Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
