Skill/Operating Group -

Lean Six Sigma [Operations] Level Consultant

 Travel Percentage Expected - Travel could be anywhere between 0-100%

Principal Duties -

And Responsibilities: A OPSConsultant will be responsible for coordinating, organizing and supporting execution of process transformations/improvements for our Clients. The projects will be aligned to driving sustainable continuous improvement programs resulting in business outcomes.

- A Consultant will be responsible for using suitable methodologies like Lean Six Sigma techniques for internal or external clients leveraging. The person will potentially lead a team of other Consultants and / or Analysts on engagements with clients to discuss and deliver Accenture's offerings under the OPS Practice.

- Conducting Assessment of client processes to identify business value levers

- Executing/Deploying Operations transformation initiatives like Lean Six Sigma, Manufacturing Excellence, Manufacturing Strategy, EBITDA improvements, Manpower Productivity enhancement, Energy Cost optimization, Digital Factory implementation etcfor global clients leveraging digital tools

- Training Accenture client employees in transformation/improvement methodologies like Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen methodologiesetc

- Coaching employees of Accenture clients in problem solving techniques

- Conducting organization level reviews and deployment of process improvement initiatives

- Providing training and mentoring support Black Belt candidates in Lean Six Sigma and Design for Lean Six Sigma, LSS for Service (Transactional) Processes, and Kaizen Events

- Delivering Executive training, Champion training and Green Belt training.

- Liaising with and advising clients across multiple industries at a mid to senior management level for large multi-location global organizations

- Develop, execute and maintain project work plan and budget for the initiatives

- Contribute to building the knowledge base of the practice

- Identifying opportunities to deliver practice offerings to clients

Qualifications: - Engineer (preferred) or Post graduate in Sciences

- Post graduate degree in Management (Tier 1/Tier 2)

- Atleast 1-7 years in Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, Process Excellence,Digital Transformation, Business Process Mapping, Continuous Improvement, etc.

- Work experience in any of the Industries: Manufacturing - CPG, Auto, Retail, FMCG, Life Sciences etc (Preferably)

Key Competencies and Skills: - Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certified

- Lean Six Sigma skill across industries preferably in manufacturing.

- Experience in manufacturing strategy, operation excellence across supply chain (manufacturing, production planning, inventory etc.) in CPG, Auto, Retail, FMCG etc.

- Digital manufacturing experience in factories e.g. IOT, MES, Smart factory implementation, 3D Printing etc.

- Sound analytical skills to drive P& L analysis across supply chain, manufacturing cost analysis, identifying and driving supply chain cost optimization initiatives in the organization.

- Exposure to Manpower productivity enhancement techniques including workforce (Bluecollar/Whitecollar) planning and deployment using tools like MOST, Span of Control etc.

Soft skills -

- Ability to working in a range of environment - interacting closely with the - C- level executives as well as the workers on the shop floor.

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Good communication skill and presentation skill

- Open to travel as its mostly a client facing role.

- Candidate should be willing to work cross industry

- Knowledge of atleast one of the following tools: Any six sigma or statistical analysis tool such as Minitab; Process mapping/simulation/automation tools such as Pega, Aris, SigmaXL, Sigmaflow and Supply chain process optimization tools like Lindo, LLamasoft, JDAetc

- Additional Information - People with manufacturing experience from(Industries like CPG, Auto, Retail, FMCG etc.) having 1-7 years of industry experience is preferred.

 Ability to take ownership and drive - to execute and coach client with minimum interference from Managers/Supervisors
