We are building India's widest network of a reliable integrated cold supply chain. We guarantee our customers a hassle-free single point of contact for managing different kinds of cold supply chain needs, while ensuring a robust temperature control throughout the chain.

The current $5Bn cold chain market is fraught with issues - fragmented service providers, service disruptions, improper temperature control, product damages and lack of flexible options such as part loads. In addition, with increasing consumer awareness and competition, manufacturers need cold chain as a key differentiator for their products.

We work with select existing cold storage and reefer owners. With the AbleCold Operating System and use of smart technology, we streamline operations to improve service standards while maintaining costs. Our innovative business model - asset-light, tech-enabled, integrated SC management - enables us to have higher service reliability, customized solutions and faster access to markets than existing players.

We are currently operational in Bangalore and are seeking a high-energy sales lead to grow our business.

About the Founder :

Abhay Kothari, Founder of AbleCold Logistics, is a chemical engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has worked in operations, strategy and business development with Fortune 500 companies and startups in India and USA. Over the past 12 years, he has acquired a unique set of experience ranging from hands-on operations and quality management at HUL, to strategy development for C-suite executives at Fortune 100 companies (USA), to building and scaling a business at Treebo Hotels.

Job Description :

The Sales Lead will be part of the core team and will work directly with the founder. He / She will be responsible for leading the sales function for AbleCold Logistics.

Key responsibilities:

1. Drive sales - own the complete process from initial reachout to contract negotiations / signing with customers. This will involve cold calling customers, finding the right point-of-contacts, actively pitching AbleCold value proposition over phone and in-person, developing quotations in coordination with the operations team, price negotiations and contract signing.

2. Develop sales process and strategy - develop a process-drive and metric-driven approach to sales including regular tracking of the sales funnel, key metrics to evaluate sales effectiveness etc.

3. Build the sales team - Identify and hire the right talent, and build the sales team as we grow.

4. Develop and execute the B2B marketing strategy

As part of the core team, the sales lead would also get an exposure to and would be expected to contribute actively in shaping other aspects of the business and operations.

Required skills / competencies / experience :

- High energy individuals excited about building a business from scratch

- Hands-on experience managing B2B sales, preferably in cold supply chain, e-commerce or startups.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education requirements :

- Undergraduate/Post Graduate degree

Salary : At-market compensations with substantial equity
