Job: Group Compensation Specialist

Schedule: Full-time

Location: India ( WFH / Remote)

Job Level: Experienced, Individual Contributor (8 to 12 years of experience in compensation management)

Reporting Manager Title: Head of Total Rewards

ALJ's Compensation team is responsible for maintaining competitive pay and creating programs that help ensure that ALJ's associates are rewarded for their contributions to the Company. The Compensation team is looking for an innovative compensation professional for their Corporate Group Total Rewards COE.

Accountabilities include.

- Partnering with HR Business Partners and business leaders across countries to develop and deliver progressive compensation programs.

- Review and audit compensation programs in the geography.

- Process review and development of SOP.

- Job analysis, evaluation, development of job architecture, and market pricing

- Lead employee communication/education programs around various elements of our Total Rewards and strengthen the Employee Value proposition in partnership with Business HR.

- Drive analytics to gain and provide insights to businesses about internal/external trends.

- Develop a network of Compensation professionals for ongoing knowledge of pay practices and evolving trends particularly in MEA.

Qualifications:

Technical:

- Exhibits the ability to develop solutions that promote a fair and progressive compensation program.

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with all levels of employees and management in a global multicultural environment.

- Effective at managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. Demonstrates ability to gain buy-in and trust amongst stakeholders and exhibits strength in influencing without authority. environment.

- Exhibits previous experience and interest in strategic and hands-on roles. Proven leadership in problem-solving.

- Collaborative. Innovative. Change-oriented and comfortable with VUCA environment. Effective at navigating a lean, fast-paced matrixed global multicultural organization.

- Deep expertise and knowledge of remuneration practices including job analysis, evaluation, developing job architecture, market pricing, and compensation analysis.

- Exposure to survey and job evaluation methodologies of Mercer, Towers Watson, Aon Hewitt or Hays Korn Ferry.

- Exceptional analytical, storytelling, and presentation skills.

- Advanced excel/spreadsheet skills and proficiency with HR systems ( we use SF).

- Knowledge of middle east and African regional pay practices

- Individual will have achieved a track record of consistent success leading Compensation programs, with 8+ years of demonstrable experience in a global multicultural company (conglomerate experience, retail or technology industry experience a definite plus).

- Experience working for HR consulting organizations in the compensation domain is highly desirable.

- Knowledge of HR ERP modules like SF / Oracle / Workday. Experience with Power BI and/or tableau is desirable

Academic:

- Masters degree in Management from a reputed institute.

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (any stream) or Accountancy.
