PURPOSE OF ROLE  The Sourcing Manager is responsible for Sourcing of materials and services for the company in Indirect area within the cost and payment term targets and at the same time ensuring good quality and service. This role will primarily be responsible for budget management, contracting, implementation & supplier relationship management  ACCOUNTABILITIES.  The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:  - Thorough knowledge of goods & services required for General admin, HR, Travel, Legal, Finance, Technology & Corporate Affairs function  - Conduct spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process.  - Continuously track the forecast vs actual saving and take corrective actions.  - Ability to plan, prepare and conduct fact based negotiation.  - Ability to deliver successful competitive E-tendering process.  - Ability to understand and apply leading contracting policies and process.  - Ability to identify value creation opportunities and build implementation of business cases.  - Ability to maintain the pipeline of value creation and benefit tracking.  - Ability to prepare the long-term strategy for the sub-categories within Indirect Category (Legal, Travel, Recruitment etc.)  - Ability to plan the SRM strategy and champion the strategy across all vendors  - Ability to work collaboratively and delivery results.  - Ability to challenge assumption and influence business partners.  - Ability to manage self and others to deal with anxiety and unknown.  - Ability to deliver real values to customers and emphasizing results over activities.  - Understand and apply sustainable procurement objective and strategies.  - Actively engage with stakeholders for the execution of sourcing projects.  - Knowledge about Product Cataloguing for frequently bought items.  - Vendor development and vendor management.  - Managing Spot buys.  - Experience in Product standardization.  BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT  This role will focus on Sourcing of indirect good & services by working closely with stakeholders thereby optimize the saving, implementing value in/cost out principles and strategic buying for the financial and operational benefit of the organization.  SCOPE OF ROLE  - Manage the overall spend for the category within the allocated budget  - Deliver the saving and payment terms target  - Maximum usage of E-tendering platform.  - Ensure the delivery of materials/services within the target date.  KEY CONTACTS  - Functions - HR, Admin, Finance, Technology, Legal, Corporate Affairs  - E-Tendering Team.  - Spot Buyers  - Shared services team  - India Procurement team  QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED :   Education :   - MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree  Experience :   - 6-8 years- experience in managing Indirect Sourcing for a large organization  Critical skills needed for success in this position:  - Sound knowledge in Sourcing & Procurement processes  - Good negotiation skills  - Stakeholder management skills.  - Ability to work the stretched targets.  - Ability to conceptualize business impact focused analytics  - Communicating effectively by conveying information and ideas in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding, solicit inputs and provide open candid conversations.  - Establishing collaborative working relationships  - Languages: English as working language. Others will be an added advantage.  - Well versed in MS applications, precisely MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.,  Preferred skills for this position:  - Hands-on procurement / category management experience in Indirect Category
