Job Description:  The Senior Sourcing Manager works to support the development and execution of category practices for selected categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, deployment and stakeholder alignment. With strong category focus the Senior Sourcing Manager supports the development and implementation of sourcing projects and interactions between ABI India business stakeholders, ABI India Procurement and the Global Procurement teams.  The primary purpose of the Senior Sourcing Manager is to support best practise application of the total cost of ownership within the category; including development and application of strategic sourcing and contract management processes.  Whilst the Senior Sourcing manager will commence duties predominantly in the Raw Materials, Auxiliary materials and Utilities space the requirement will be to work in any VIC categories as designated by the Associate Director - VIC.  Job Responsibilities:  Stakeholder Alignment :  - Support the Zone and Global teams in the identification of stakeholders in the initiation of the strategy development and sourcing execution projects  - Actively engage with stakeholders as defined in alignment with Senior Category Manager throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process  - Ensure that the input from the stakeholder is considered in the process  Support Strategic Planning, Implementation & Tracking :   - Value pipeline development and management  - Global and regional alignment in strategic sourcing initiatives  - Record and report performance (savings) of conducted projects  - Manage and support PPM's with the CTRM process  - Support new product development and supplier led innovation opportunities.  Sourcing Support :   - Support the Senior Category Manager in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy  - Support development negotiation strategies in alignment with Senior Category Manager and ensure proper documentation  - Provide support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process  - Assist in the development of Rfx  - Support preparation of supplier communication packages  - Prepare fact-based negotiation packages, in support of the Zone Category Management in the negotiation process  - Support preparation of implementation plan  Sourcing & Category Management :   - Perform category management activities for projects  - Manage the procurement strategy implementation / sourcing execution for a less complex categories  - Drive supplier performance by  - Supporting supplier performance measurement and reporting  - Identifying supplier improvement opportunities  - Facilitate cross functional review meetings with suppliers  - Develop category specific toolkits and the creation and maintenance of category market intelligence  - Execute end-to-end sourcing projects for less complex categories (in alignment with the Senior Category Manager )  - Participate in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with other category teams (Global and Zone, where appropriate)  - Perform supplier selection and fact-based negotiations, validated by the Senior Category Manager  - Support Senior Category Manager and business stakeholders to assure business requirements are met  - Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimisation, KPI implementation and follow up, etc.  - Conduct spend map analysis to monitor spend and ensure that all purchases follow the purchasing process  - Identify Value Engineering opportunities and lead projects to deliver value.  - Continuously track forecasted vs. actual savings according to the Value Tracking Process for global categories in scope - define - corrective/optimisation actions if needed and follow up on them (escalate to Category Manager, if needed)  - Support category spend visibility and insight through available data  - Monitor internal contract compliance  - Manage - spot-buy- activities as required in line with spend criteria  Operational Interfacing/Interaction :   - Interface between Procurement and the business function, ensuring alignment across key projects within the supply/functional agenda  Ideal Candidate:  Job Qualifications :   - Academic background: appropriate University/bachelor degree qualification is essential.
