Position: Principal Analyst Workday Reporting

Roles and Responsibilities

1. PURPOSE OF ROLE

The role is designed to encompasses design & technical delivery of efficient HR reporting & business intelligence framework using Workday. This role supports ABI's talent initiatives by partnering with HR and business leaders to create leading and innovative reporting solutions, resolve complex data requests, provide critical interpretation of data and communicate information and insights in a meaningful and powerful voice.

2. KEY TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer in Workday

- Develop custom templates using Workday Report designer BIRT.

- Should have hands-on experience with Cloud connectors, Core connectors, EIB, DT, WD Studios, Web Services(REST/SOAP/WSDL), custom fields, calculated fields, advance reports, BIRT, XML, XSLT.

- Create standard, advanced, matrix and composite reports while understanding business needs internal/external to HR

- Load, manipulate, audit, and report on data and make complex mass changes or perform other direct data updates, as considered necessary including building inbound and outbound EIBs(Must)

- Ensure meaningful and actionable report output. Validates and tests report to ensure accuracy.

- Lead and execute full report development life cycle: requirement gathering, design, build, test and deploy

- Work directly with functional groups such as Talent Management, Payroll, and Core HCM etc. to provide technical support, research, solve problems, and resolve report writing issues in a timely manner

- Serve as a Workday Reporting domain expert and provide guidance and consultation to HR stakeholders and partners

- Functional knowledge of one or more Workday modules: HCM, Absence Management, Compensation, Talent Management

- Mentor HRIS team members on Workday reporting and Partner with them to develop consistency and standardization of processes and services across HRIS team

- Developing strong relations with business users in different HR disciplines

- Ensure that processes and procedures adhere to defined audit and internal control

3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS

- 4-7 years of experience in HCM systems with Minimum 3 years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience and expertise on one or many modules (Core HCM, Recruiting, Performance, Absence and Time Tracking).

- Mandatory experience in designing and developing complex templates using BIRT.

- Certifications in Workday Reporting and Workday Report Designer(Preferable). Or Candidates having Very Good Hands-on Experience also considerable.

- Expert knowledge in Workday integration tools such as Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB),

- Experience in managing Workday data mass uploads and maintain data Integrity.

- Hands on experience on building Workday reports for Integrations

- Previous experience on HCM solutions like PeopleSoft, SAP will be advantage

- Deep knowledge of Workday data sources and complex calculated fields

- Ability to understand the business requirements, and user needs and translate them into operational requirements

- Ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy with highly confidential data

- Self-motivated with a focus on driving results and a strong sense of accountability

- Demonstrated experience in analytical thinking and problem-solving

- Superior collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

- Strong communication skills, both written and oral

- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment, but also a self-starter who can take on new challenges and work independently

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt to frequent change
