Principal Analyst - PowerBI/Python & Sales

1. PURPOSE OF ROLE:

- The primary objective of the position is delivery of all standard sales reports, News Demands & Projects from the GCC across Europe.

- The position will also be responsible for generating new initiatives which will bring value to the business and handle sales teams queries

- Support on tracking and monitoring of Sales Executive KPI's

- Analyse data which affects productivity of M1's and provide suggestions to close gaps

- Understanding of Distribution, Sales Visits, Volume data and marketing parameters to analyse data and provide insights to support Business in implementing action plans

- Support Sales team with any Ad hoc requests or doing Target vs Actual variance analysis

2. KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Ability to solve problem quickly and effectively applying logical thinking to be able to resolve the issues for the Sales Team with minimum impact to Business

- Handling large data sets to connect data points and provide reports/analysis to the stakeholders to generate actionable insights for the Sales Team.

- Excel/Power BI/Qlik expertise to create self-serviceable dashboards to provide meaningful and actionable inputs to the Business

- Work with minimal support on unstructured data sets inculcating the Principle of Ownership.

- Developing business-friendly presentations, transforming thoughts into key actions for business and showing the end results which resulted from these interventions

- Preparing closure dashboards/presentations for Weekly/Monthly Sales performance reviews to showcase what went well, what gaps exist and what can we do to close these gaps (Root Cause Analysis)

- Understanding of Sales Processes and Systems to enable the individual in the role to provide good actionable/insightful and timely inputs to Sales Team

- Working with multiple data sources like Nielsen, Salesforce, SAP, MS Access, Qlik

- Ensure deliverables are Accurate, on Time and to the best satisfaction of the stakeholders.

- Excellent Stakeholder management skills with Precise and Timely communication so that any issue that arises can be resolved in quick time.

- Ad-hoc reporting on effectiveness of Set Targets, Achievements, Variable Payouts and other Sales KPI's which impact the performance of the Sales team

- Find opportunities to identify Process efficiency in the existing process and take initiatives to take it to closure

- Timeline Definition for Ad-hoc business issue

- Work with Team Lead/Manager to decide Time Estimation and Timeline Definition for every approved request

- Responsible for communication of timelines to the in-country teams

3. BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT:

1. Main Characteristics: This is an offshore role and requires comfort with working in virtual environment. GCC is referred to as the offshore location from where the position will be based out of. Role requires to work in collaborative manner with country Tech-Sales managers and GCC commercial teams. Should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and provide proactive communication to the stakeholders.

2. Evaluation Criteria (Targets): Position will be responsible to support the country Tech-Sales managers. It will entail working very closely with Tech-sales teams at GCC and in-country teams. The position is key to drive growth for business in commercial. Reporting & Analysis of accurate KPI's within the agreed SLAs

3. Geographical Scope: Sales operations teams in GCC & Europe (North, South & West)

4. Key Dimensions & Contacts:

- In-Country Tech Sale teams

- CoE Zone/GCC Teams

- GCC Tech Sales Team.

- Relevant Business Units.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

Please list the following requirements:

- Level of educational attainment required:

- Degree/Post Graduation in Business Management

- Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships required:

- Preferred Salesforce certification (Not Mandatory)

- Previous work experience required ; 6 to 7 years

- Language skills required

- Fluent English (speaking, reading and writing)

- IT skills required

- Good level of data accuracy

- Technical skills from a wide range including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and power BI

- Experience working with MS SQL (Optional)

Other Skills required:

- Good at analytics and deriving insights

- Should be self-initiator

- Adept at preparing & maintaining documentation as per operational excellence.
