- SAP HCM Experience is Mandatory-   Primary Purpose of Role :  The Manager - People Operations leads a team of People Operations Specialists to deliver high quality efficient and effective end-to-end operational HR advice and services to the business. The scope of advice and services extends across and the employee life cycle (- hire to retire- process) including all systems, policies and processes, to meet the needs of the business, People Business Partners (BPs) and People Centres of Excellence (COEs).  The position manages team development, closely monitors team performance and works to continuously improve on quality and efficiency of services delivered.   Provide clear leadership of the People Operations team   - Encourage and inspire your team to go beyond just responding to customers queries - aim to exceed expectations on service timeliness and quality.   - Oversee day-to-day operations by setting clear team goals and targets and delegating tasks as appropriate.   - Motivate and develop team members  - Ensure work is allocated appropriately across the team, managing priorities and availability.   Monitor and report on performance / service levels, striving for operational excellence  - Monitor team performance and report on service level agreements  - Recognise performance; rewarding accomplishments and taking early action on substandard outcomes.  - Provide insights on service levels, understanding upstream and downstream impacts to ensure effective service across hire to retire processes.   - Be never satisfied with your results, always challenging - - how could this be done better- . Raise your ideas and drive them to fruition.  Work closely with the Service & Operations Manager on issue resolution and process inflows   - Understand impact of process inflows to team and communicate any risk to immediate or downstream processes (e.g. payroll)  - Plan for change impact within the team and allocate resources accordingly.  Develop and maintain strong working relationships   - Understand stakeholder needs and develop positive working relationships to create trust and accountability.   - Work to mitigate any risk / issues raised by stakeholders in a timely manner, reporting road blocks and progress   - Keep stakeholders regularly informed of changes or updates as needed.  Provide regular and adhoc HR reports   - Manage and report monthly service level agreement and/or performance reports to the Service & Operations Senior Manager  - Create ad-hoc reports in line with reporting standards & service level agreements.  Participate in adhoc project work as required, including continuous process improvement   - Lead /delegate adhoc projects identified through service level monitoring or as directed by other stakeholders.   - Always look for ways to improve end user experience of our services through process efficiency and quality of outputs.  Education level and/ or experience  - Degree qualified in Business or related discipline  - Experience leading teams within a complex corporate environment  - Experience designing, improving and measuring process excellence  - Prior experience working with SAP HCM  - Intermediate MS Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint skills  Skills and/or knowledge  - Understands importance of confidentiality and where HR related matters could be sensitive.  - Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task, working within tight deadlines.  - Leadership - Inspires a shared sense of purpose and direction; leading by example with best practice behaviours.   - Accountability - takes ownership of tasks and service provided, owning positive and negative results.   - Issue Resolution - takes initiative on the identification of issues, consulting broadly within and across teams until root cause is identified and fixed.  - Exceptional customer orientation - always considers the customer first and will case manage queries through to resolution.  - Resilience - demonstrates strong self-belief, tenacity in the face of challenge and the ability to work under pressure  - Attention to detail/ accuracy/ timeliness - strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to deliver to deadline  - Communication - Excellent verbal and written English communication with the ability to adapt communication style depending on medium, audience & purpose.  - Relationship Building - Makes and maintains strong relationships across the business.   - Stakeholder Management - Effectively manages stakeholder expectations, negotiating deadlines where needed to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.  - Decision making - confidently makes decisions where not all information is available, and owns decisions made to team, peers and managers.   - Process Improvements - Never completely satisfied with results, and looks for ways to drive greater efficiency in processes and people performance.   Other requirements :  - Friendly and helpful disposition  - Strives to exceed both quality and volume based service level agreements
