- AB InBev India is looking to hire a Manager - Brewery Finance for its Tech & Analytics function based out of Bangalore.

Primary Purpose of the role :

- The candidate is responsible for providing support for Brewery's financial requirements, financial discipline, and maintaining budgetary and internal controls in line with SOPs.

- Also responsible for tracking business performance, ensuring compliance, and Cost Centre-wise alignment of all financial transactions.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities :

1. Budget & Planning :

- Assist the manager in preparation of Budget function wise considering all aspects and needs of the brewery and all functions in terms of BoM, Utilities & conversion charges

- Plan the availability of funds for duty payments and other payments on time.

2. Financial functions :

- Ensure maintenance of proper and accurate books of accounts of the unit in accordance with Company's standard practice & timely and accurate month closure.

- Implementation of financial terms and conditions of contractual agreements.

- Monitor and highlight variances against budgets/standards.

- Provide assistance to the Manager in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Monthly Reports (Profitability statements, TB analysis, month end schedules etc).

- Ensure all basic internal controls are in place in the unit pertaining to all financial transactions

- Assist the Manager in implementation of Delegation of Authority (DAG) and all published company policies having financial/ commercial implications.

- Think out of box and initiate Cost Savings.

- Ensure optimum income from Scrap generation & proper reconciliation of relevant GLs

- Support Operations on commercials issues.

3. Compliance & Audits :

- Ensure compliance on various accounting/ financial/ commercial matters, e.g. statutory, banks, taxation authorities, vendors, customers etc.

- Provide assistance w.r.t clean Audit - Statutory audit, Tax Audit and other Govt. Audits.

- Issue/collect all statutory forms and ensure no tax liability and timely assessments.

- Timely filing of all TDS/TCS/GST returns.

4. Act as a Local Subject Matter Experts (SME) of entire region for all Finance and Control activities

5. Study financial viability and credit worthiness of the customers for Scrap and other such items and finalize the one who can offer the best rate for the company along with adhering to the company norms

6. Inventory Management. Ensure regular Follow up for liquidation of slow moving and obsolete stock

7. Ad-hoc reports, Presentation

8. Focus on automation, process improvement

9. People Management - Training and support to team.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Education & Experience : CA or CMA with minimum 4-5 year experience in manufacturing set up (Alco Bev industry would an added advantage)

Skills & Knowledge :

- Strong verbal or written communication skills

- Accounting, Month closure, Inventory management, Cash flow management, Taxation, Automation, Process improvement, ERP/SAP exposure etc.

- Should possess good MS Office advanced skills
