- Responsible for performing various cash, disbursement, and cash accounting activities within the Corporate Treasury function. The role is primarily focused on the General Ledger duties of a treasury department and includes, affiliate bank accounts; perform accounting functions within the various financial systems, bank reconciliations, audit inquiries, and backup of other core treasury functions, e.g. cash position and electronic payments, as assigned. - This individual may be required to provide input to or participate in various projects and will perform other duties as requested. Superior understanding of accounting/finance processes/procedures required. Understanding of system interfaces and impacts of processes across groups/systems. - Apply knowledge of processes and related systems to assist in identifying, assessing and resolving issues/problems. Should be able to Assess and resolve non-standard and standard issues or problems. Supervisor will be responsible to manage, train and help the existing team leads and team members including new joiners. - Should have the ability to manage work pressure of self and the assigned team and to think out of box resolution. Should be capable of resolving any process related escalations. - Should assist in the preliminary and annual audit performed by external auditors. Handle audit queries resolutions / SOX testing/ MIC testing etc. Strong understanding of internal and external standards, controls, regulations (i.e. SOX, MICS, IFRS). Key Responsibilities: - Proven organizational and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage process activities - Administration of the disbursement files from various business units and corporate departments - Ensure activities posted to both cash and clearing GL accounts are reviewed and reconciled in a timely manner - Review bank reconciliations - reconciliation of the bank statement against the GL and reconciliation of any assigned clearing accounts - Respond to audit inquiries in a timely manner; as required, make calls to the bank directly to clarify adjustments or to clarify items on the bank statements in order to reconcile activity or properly code it; liaise with auditors to confirm bank balances as of a certain date - Uses various cash management program - Serve as System Administrator for Treasury related systems - Co-ordinate working capital initiatives across the zone - Coordinate the monthly tracking and monitoring of the working capital at zone level - Analyze monthly results of zone affiliates and perform ad-hoc analysis - Prepare the full year payment planning and align with different team on their payments (Taxes, payroll, leases, suppliers and customers) - Forecast and position the cash flow (both inflow and outflow) well in advance for the upcoming months. - Support the Global treasury on cash pooling and funding to use the fund efficiently. Experience: - At least 6 years business experience in a multicultural environment with strong experience in financial reporting and/or business performance management - Experience in leading a team and working with teams across businesses in varied locations - Experience in working in an ERP environment is a plus - Thorough understanding of financial reporting techniques - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficient in Excel and knowledge of SAP, knowledge of Cognos is a plus - Strong drive for superior performance, accuracy and precision - Strong leadership skills - Results oriented and hand-on - Strong communication skills - Excellent knowledge of the business and the market, ability to be a business partner - Trusted advisor - Strong financial and general business acumen; - Strong drive for superior performance, accuracy and precision; - Strong analytical and problem solving skills; - Passion and enthusiasm for company product line; - Strong knowledge of MS Office applications with hands-on capacity; - Flexible to travel (about 20-30%) to check compliance in the field globally, as required
