Primary Purpose of the role

Responsible for providing support for the Contract Brewery's financial requirements, financial discipline and maintaining budgetary and internal controls in line with SOPs. Also responsible for tracking business performance, ensuring compliance and Cost center-wise alignment of all financial transactions.

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

1. Budget & Planning

a. Ensure preparation of Budget function-wise considering all aspects and needs of the brewery and all functions in terms of BoM, Utilities & conversion charges

b. Plan the availability of funds for duty payments and other payments on time

2. Financial Functions

a. Ensure maintenance of proper and accurate books of accounts of the unit in accordance with the Company's standard practice & timely and accurate month closure.

b. Implementation of financial terms and conditions of contractual agreements.

c. Monitor and highlight variances against budgets/standards.

d. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Monthly Reports (Profitability statements, TB analysis, CMO reconciliations etc).

e. Ensure all basic internal controls are in place in the unit pertaining to all financial transactions

f. Ensure implementation of Delegation of Authority (DAG) and all published company policies having financial/ commercial implications.

g. Initiate Cost Savings.

h. Ensure optimum income from Scrap generation.

i. Support Operations on commercials issues

3. Compliance & Audits

a. Ensure compliance on various accounting/ financial/ commercial matters, e.g. statutory, banks, taxation authorities, vendors, customers etc.

b. To ensure clean Audit - Statutory audit, Tax Audit and other Govt. Audits

4. Act as a Local Subject Matter Experts (SME) of entire region for all Finance and Control activities

5.Study financial viability and credit worthiness of the customers for Scrap and other such items and finalize the one who can offer the best rate for the company along with adhering to the company norms

6.Inventory Management. Ensure regular Follow up for liquidation of slow moving and obsolete stock

7.Ad-hoc reports, Presentation

8.Focus on automation, process improvement

9.People Management - Training and support to team.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Education & Experience

1.CA

2. Professional Accounting Certification must (Chartered Accountant/ CPA/ CIMA/ ACCA)

1. High level of energy and ability to energize other, openness and passion for improving processes

2. Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate across multiple functions, and to different levels of management

3. Highest degree of integrity, ethical conduct, professionalism and discretion required
