Manager - Compliance - AB In BEV GCC, Bangalore

The Global Risk Management (GRM)/ Internal Audit team acts as an independent challenger, helping AB InBev build a strong system to control risks.

As a manager in GRM, the candidate is responsible for the statutory audit/ internal audit requirements of the GCC, Bangalore, to ensure that GCC is compliant with the regulations, contribute to GRM missions to provide independent assurance to challenge the - status quo- , to improve the risk management maturity and raise awareness and improve risk mindset across the company.

Purpose of the Role :

The Global Risk Management (GRM)/ Internal Audit team acts as an independent challenger, helping AB InBev build a strong system to control risks.

Strategic/Tactical Responsibilities :

- Establish a strong network with different stakeholders and Leadership team

- Day-to-day interactions with Senior Management within GCC and also with Global and Zone leaders

- Be a credible, independent business partner to management

- Drive periodic review meetings with Leadership to ensure effective and efficient Compliance

- Drive ABI culture and principles in GRM function and should be the face of the GRM team

- Participate in GRM initiatives. Support to structure the new initiative which includes developing SLA- s, quality criteria- s, regular reporting/analytics

- Be an internal consultant, living up to GRM- s motto of "Make ABI Better"

- Need to have strong negotiation skills and trigger the right level of escalations to manage stakeholders

- Be transparent and provide timely communication to the team on GRM, Compliance, and People related matters

Operational Responsibilities:

- Conducting business process reviews (Finance Close Process, Revenue Recognition, Transfer Pricing, Fixed Assets, Statutory Filing, Tax Compliance, Payroll, etc.), ISO audit, Business Continuity etc.

- Define strategies and lead change management

- Understand and balance diverse stakeholder perspectives and requirements in order to do what- s right for ABI

- Take ownership and deliver these in accordance with agreed working practices, appraising the relevant risks, processes, and controls

- Where appropriate, supervise and support the work of team members, guest auditors, or third-party consultants engaged to support the delivery of a GRM review, assessment, or project

- Review and present conclusions and identified risks to stakeholders. Recommend corrective actions to improve theeffectiveness and efficiency of risk management responses

- Problem-solve to identify and report material deficiencies in internal controls, opportunities to enhance business operations, and suggest new ways of working to close gaps in the business

- Supervise the ABI and Third-party teams to deliver GRM review, assessment, or project.

- Build rapport and connect with global stakeholders, to identify key risks and provide solutions

- Should be able to work in a dynamic culture and demonstrate ownership capabilities to devise methodology and drive projects/initiatives till closure with due quality

- Aid in staff hiring, development, and mentorship

- Driving continuous improvement initiatives



- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, cyber security or equivalent Professional qualifications and accreditations/memberships required:

- IT auditing experience (e.g. ITGCs, Security, Cloud, ecommerce, IT Governance, etc.) Experience with frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001 etc.

- Previous work experience required 10+ years of relevant work experience within IT audit, product DevOps, cloud or application architecture, cyber security, IT operations
