- To be capable at looking the entire value chain and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve business objectives. Lead and implement Business initiatives, help achieve profitability targets by optimization of productivity, yields, quality. - Prepare, Analyze and Review Quarterly Budget and Annual Production Budget. (based on profitability maximization and customer satisfaction) - Regularly review yields and costing for the assigned Zone. - Review shutdown plans for long shutdowns and monitor the progress, work with Manufacturing teams to minimize adverse impact on market and customer and to effectively plan the shutdowns. - Prepare and update key inputs for capacity debottlenecking/ expansion proposals, work out various capacity utilization scenarios. - Monitor the execution of Business and Productivity Improvement Initiatives. - Participate in Zonal Quality Meetings, Champion Customer Complaints resolution and Customer satisfaction. - Lead in Quality certifications for HO functions and help compile inputs for various Certifications, Customer Questionnaires and VQDs. - Review Historical Sales Trends, Research Demand Drivers, Prepare Mid/Long term forecast data, Develop Statistical Forecast Models. - Use statistical tools to analyze market, costing and related data drivers for improving business profitability. - Make Vs Buy decision making and co-ordination, execution for business decisions. - Competitive benchmarking and market intelligence data gathering/ presenting to the BU head. - Financial Modelling - Short, Mid and Long Term. - Business Risk Scenarios Preparation and Readiness. An incumbent should be Chemical Engineer with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in corporate / business planning function.
