Job title : AVP/VP-Transportation

Reports to : Operations Director

Duties and Responsibility :

1. Launch and manage the B2B transport aggregation service of the company onboard customers, establish SOPs, develop team. Basically manage everything to see that the new business is successful.

2. Launch and manage the ecommerce transportation service of the company

3. Responsible for coordinating with partner carriers for timely delivery of shipments approx. 500 tons of volume per month

4. Will be leading a team of transport manager, business development executives and transport executives to achieve the business goals. Responsible for aligning them with the goals of the company and keep them inspired.

5. Responsible for proactively coordinating with customers for resolving their transportation related queries.

6. Identify new business partners transporters, carriers, ecommerce delivery partners, negotiate rates and contract with them and validate and process their invoices for payment.

Qualification:

- Any Graduate/Post Graduate from top B-school.

- Minimum 6 years of experience managing multi modal transportation PTL, ecommerce deliveries, import-export etc
