Basic Purpose : Sr Business Director is at the helm of sales and is responsible for Sales Revenue for Mumbai Region. Duties & Responsibilities - Sales - - Annual Sales target phasing/setting - Smooth functioning & coordination of all regions to achieve common objectives - Drive revenue focused approach - Work closely with the revenue planning team to achieve revenue objectives - Maintain target/achievement executive wise nationally - Timely dissemination of information at all levels Planning - - Planning for the quarter/annual target achievement with data/tools provided - Lead sales planning for the team to achieve objectives - Analyze numbers to get an edge Reports - - Ensure all reports and formats are adhered to by the team Client Servicing - - Integrate verticals and bring them together for bundling - Business understanding of clientele that exists in the market - Solution generation approach for clients - Build and maintain business relationships with key clients and agencies - Manage objection handling for the team - Lead from the front to achieve sales targets. New Business Development - Identify and convert non TV/Radio advertisers - Grow the brand count on all media - Focus on SME/NBD Inter department co-ordination - - Work closely with the programming team, BIG solutions, marketing team for integrated solutions to the clients - Ensure sales entitlements are as per the programming guidelines - Seek assistance from marketing and content planning teams for key client pitches Compliance - - Ensure compliance of internal/ externals processes followed by the organization - Ensure advertisements are as per the government guidelines - All internal and external documentation is as per company policy - Ensure confidentiality of data Required Qualifications and Skills - - A full-time MBA with at least 10+ years of experience in Sales - Familiarity with the business community in respective areas - Have successfully led a team in the past
