Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Manage information technology and computer systems.
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
- Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
- As required for optimum IT services, locate, negotiate and manage 3rd party service providers .
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures.
- Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proven working experience of handling the end-to-end IT infrastructure in a small to id size IT companies or relevant experience.
- Should have hands on knowledge on SOC2 IT Compliance.
- Should have deployed personally best-of-breed IT practices in the organization.
- Should have been an active part of a major IT security certification.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Expertise in security and data governance.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Experience working in a global company and multiple country operations sites.
- Ability to manage personnel.
- Ability to gather information and collate them into metrics and dashboards.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 12-15 years of experience working in IT operations.
- Very strong analytical, time-management, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues.
- Experience within a startup or other extremely fast paced environments.
