Business Analysis
- Ensures clear understanding of customers- requirements, in validating the business process analysis of the customer before developing the final proposal
- Conducts business requirements reviews, Develops functional designs; identifies risks and benefits of alternate designs; assesses project impact of system changes on users and internal and external customers and stakeholders, analyses marketplace, industry, company, technology trends, and best practices, vendor products, and services, etc.
- Produces written specifications, e.g. Business Requirement Document and Business Case documents to capture & justify business requirements
Presales
- Conducting Demos/ POCs etc
- Responding to RFPs/RFIs and Preparing Proposals
- Interacting with clients/ prospects to understand the requirements
- Manage relations with clients/Partners & Travel to meet clients as and when needed
- Create Data for the demos/POCs as required
- Prepare prospect DB and maintain the same
Qualification
- 3-5 years of experience as a Presales Consultant in FS product domain.
- Good domain exposure to accounting and finance concepts (Investment Accounting, GAAP,, revenue and recognition, Valuation, understanding of financial statements, NAV Generation, Cashflow statements, Performance Analytics, Attribution analysis etc)
- Domain Exposure to capital markets (Equity & Debt), derivatives, mutual funds, portfolio management companies and insurance fund management, IRDA and SEBI guidelines
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical, logical and reasoning skills
- Power users of MS-Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Education - (UG - B.Tech/B.E., B.Com - Commerce) AND (PG - MBA/PGDM - Finance, CA, CS, ICWA)
