Job Summary :

In the world of e-commerce, where scale is critical, data is the only way to make informed strategic decisions. We pride ourselves on being data-driven in continuous attempts to grow, evolve, and remain ahead of the market.

This position would drive the monthly forecast consensus process for accounts assigned by engaging the entire cross functional team resulting in short and long-term demand plans. You would collaborate with Vendor Management and Pricing teams on buy strategies to support product initiatives, maximize in-stock, and inventory productivity.

The job entails understanding market dynamics and latest marketing and supply plans (promotions, distribution changes, supply constraints, etc.) and make value-added modifications to the statistical demand forecast. You should enjoy flexing your number-crunching skills and have an eye for detail to have a significant and measurable impact on our business.

Responsibilities :

- Evaluate historical demand patterns, use experience and statistical knowledge to implement optimal models to represent the best future demand forecast pattern.

- Forecasts for future inventory based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels.

- Review stock to sales ratios and respond to changing sales trends to ensure plan sales.

- Create analysis of sales records and supplier reports to identify missed opportunities.

- Provide necessary sale/inventory reporting.

- Be responsible for demand forecast variance reduction as compared to actual demand, driving variance to less than 5% of planned cost of goods sold.

- Support annual planning processes for designated suppliers.

- Present demand findings that drive understanding, alignment, and informed decision making

Qualifications :

- Management Degree from a top 20 business school.

- Ideally suited for 2016 / 2017 / 2018 / 2019 batch graduates
