Purpose of Role: - To handle the day to day operations related to market place &amp; liaison between the vendors &amp; internal teams. The role would aim to contribute effectively for a world class customer experience delivery. - To provide support to the various internal teams &amp; Market with a process based &amp; root cause analysis bent of mind. - To contribute with critical inputs to the team for process improvisation &amp; solutions based thinking. The prime focus is the achievement of business outcomes. - Ensuring that the FMCG market place workings are being run in a correct, process driven, outcome focused, cost effective &amp; timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements. Duties and Responsibilities - - To take responsibility for the day to day operations of the FMCG market place operations. - To supervise &amp; run the day to day market place activities, providing expert guidance &amp; advice to team members, helping the team to identify and supply appropriate techniques, processes, materials, resources &amp; equipment to meet business outcomes. - Chalking out or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being - Purchase materials, plan inventory and ensure warehouse efficiency - To contribute, as a member of the Marketplace team, with the planning and development of the executable strategies &amp; plans. - Examine financial data/statements and use them to improve profitability of the function &amp; the organisation. - Contribute by collaborating &amp; liaising with cross functional team members as required to ensure the goals of the organisation are met service are met successfully. - Perform quality controls and monitor market place KPIs - Effective communication and management of vendor pricing, sourcing FMCG category products, one-on-one discussions with vendors, trade shows, and other events; Helping ShopX fine tune our focus on FMCG categories - Leading a team that would have goals in line with Supporting/Training/Onboarding a base of Vendors to ensure TAT or customer experience is excelled month on month. - Following a RCA based approach to resolve day to day problems, leading to solutions/Fixes that would work in short term &amp; long term. - Recruit, train, supervise and appraise human resources - To provide formal or informal training sessions to team members that may include one of more, demonstration, instruction with a process/technique, coaching with the development and proficiency of a skill, technique or process. - To provide detailed feedback to team members and contribute critical aspects of team growth &amp; capability improvement - concept and expressive/creative intention in relation to agreed business outcomes. - To demonstrate a high level of independent responsibility for the diagnosis and resolution of problems and creative/artistic challenges encountered with the execution of work. - To carry out detailed and extensive research to support the ability to diagnose and resolve problems of a highly technical/operational, complicated nature, that involves testing and re-testing scenarios and processes to lead to the successful design and achievement of intended business outcome/execution of work. - To take responsibility for and oversee the day to day operation of specified facilities, liaising Technical/Sales Coordinator and/or Technical/Sales Manager, and ensure the safe use of equipment and facilities. - To undertake process definition &amp; implementation for frontline maintenance &amp; repairs liaising with suppliers and contractors to meet statutory and recognized professional procedures and guidelines, as agreed with Sales/Technical Coordinator and/or Product Manager. - To liaise internally and externally with professionals and recognized practitioners and attend conferences /exhibitions to share and develop ideas, knowledge and expertise that can be translated to support day to day work or achievement of organisational goals. - To take responsibility for the maintenance of inventories, carrying out risk assessments and appropriate records with regard to products/equipment, stock lists, ordering of stock, equipment and consumables; servicing and repair of equipment reporting to the internal teams. - To be involved with the design, production and development of appropriate materials to suit own specific areas of specialist activity and service delivery. - To advise &amp; assist with design/sales teams as required from time to time, liaising with external clients and supporting retailers/distributors. - To perform such duties consistent with your role as may from time to time be assigned to you anywhere within the organisation - To undertake health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the role - To work in accordance with the Core values of the organisation &amp; the business policies, promoting equality and diversity in your work - To undertake continuous personal and professional development, and to support it for any staff you manage through effective use of the organisation Planning, Review and Appraisal scheme and staff development opportunities - To make full use of all information and communication technologies in adherence to data protection policies to meet the requirements of the role and to promote organisational effectiveness - To conduct all financial matters associated with the role in accordance with the company policies and procedures, as laid down in the Financial Regulations. - Identify Sales opportunities with positive PPA (Product Price Advantage) &amp; take the same through the complete Product Life cycle. - Lead Price Negotiation with Vendors/Suppliers.
