Position: Brand Strategist Location: Gurugram The Context: - Eggs are nature's perfect nutrition and can solve for India's nutrition problem. However, out of 40 Crore eggs consumed daily in India, more than 97% are sold in loose and unpackaged format. The Indian egg industry is largely unorganized at the backend as well as the frontend. - A typical egg in India takes 8-10 days to reach a retail counter by the time it is not fresh and has lost nutrition values (by more than 50% as per research). With non-fresh eggs, there is a funny egg smell and runny texture of yolk and albumen, which is very common with Indian eggs. Farmers make thin margins and are dependent on unorganized traders and wholesalers. Opportunity: With growing demand for hygienic and branded foods, Eggoz is building a brand of eggs in a $12 Billion egg consumption market which is growing rapidly at 15% annually. Eggoz aims to be the 'Amul for Eggs'. It aims to deliver superior nutrition with sustainable farming, aim at better income for farmers and strive for 24-hour freshness, thereby holistically attempting to solve the current challenges in the industry. - The business model is asset-light and tech-first where farmers are onboarded to an integrated platform, which includes poultry feed & nutrition integration using only herbal ingredients, and bird management technology to improve farmer income. Eggoz is the leading and fastest growing brand of eggs. Its products are available in omni- channel retail in 3 major metro cities and nearby non-metro towns. In the next phase, Eggoz aspires to become a household brand. It is looking to scale the brand and platform to the rest of the country and build the largest national brand of eggs. Role: - We are seeking a creative and analytical Brand Strategist to develop and execute brand strategies that strengthen our market position, enhance brand equity, and drive business growth. - The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, market trends, and competitive landscapes to craft compelling brand narratives through differentiated positioning. - You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and drive brand growth. You will be responsible for key output metrics like revenue of specific projects and overall brand health. You will also be responsible for running marketing campaigns on all relevant platforms and help develop strategies that maximise ROI. Key Responsibilities: - Brand Strategy Define and implement short term and long-term brand strategies for the entire portfolio that align with business objectives, TG, and market trends. - Brand Positioning & Messaging: Own and Craft the proposition of the brand and leverage creative story telling to communicate the same to the consumer. - Consumer Research & In sighting: Be the authority on consumer by conducting consumer research through IDIs and arrive at the right consumer persona for the brand. Leverage insights to develop marketing communication for the different consumer cohorts. - VIS Packaging and Design: Lead all packaging design projects in collaborating with the creative team to ensure premium look and feel for the brand. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal marketing Sales and operations teams to ensure cohesive brand execution across campaigns, digital platforms, and offline channels. - Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse brand performance metrics (awareness, perception, engagement) and adjust strategies to ensure positive brand health. - Brand Guidelines: Develop and maintain brand identity standards, ensuring consistency across all communications. - Innovation & Growth: Identify opportunities for brand expansion, partnerships, and experiential marketing to enhance brand equity. - Campaign Management: Support the digital / media/ activation team in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across digital and offline platforms - Revenue: Own Revenue targets of key projects and deliver Annual Operating plan through key brand initiatives.
