Program Overview
Investment banking primarily involves raising funds for clients. Two primary methods of accomplishing this are through the issuance of equity and debt. When a company wants to issue bonds, it hires an investment bank not only to help structure the bonds, but also to tap into their vast network of potential investors. IIM Indore's Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Investment Banking (PGCPIB) is designed to provide professionals with the necessary knowledge to handle a variety of investment banking roles and responsibilities, such as asset management, security valuations, and derivatives instruments to meet specific investment goals for the benefit of investors. The programme also provides participants with exposure to other functional areas of investment banking, such as mergers and acquisitions, investments, portfolio management, and investment advisory services.
