We represent ZuperMeal, a food technology startup which delivers home cooked meals and delicacies to customers. ZuperMeal is backed by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor and Ravi Saxena, founder and CEO of Wonderchef, along with a couple of other promoters. We currently have an Android app and we are operating out of the Andheri-Powai area in Mumbai.  We are looking for a young and dynamic individual to lead the business development efforts of our eCommerce business. The candidate should be well versed with the technology startup ecosystem in our country today.  The candidate will directly report to the CMO and will be one of the first few employees in the Sales and Marketing function.  Requirements:  - MBA/PGDM will be preferred  - At least 2 years of sales or marketing experience is a must, startup experience will be preferred  - Pleasing personality and good in communication (English and Hindi mandatory)  - Leadership qualities  - Multi-tasking and time management  - Passionate about eCommerce, technology and sales/marketing  - A go-getter and one who is aware of 360 degree marketing activities required to generate sales (online orders in our case)  Responsibilities:  BTL events and promotions:  - The BD head will be expected to scout for and come up with appropriate locations where ZuperMeal can carry out promotional events and spread the word (commercial/residential complexes, and public places like shopping malls, for example)  - Lead a team of on-field sales persons and carry out events and activities, manage them on a daily basis and fulfill some basic sales targets  - Speak to the relevant authority in charge of the property, set up appointments if required, and organize events on the date so decided  - Find out the right contact persons in organizations, speak to them and forward promotional mails/messages for further circulation among employees  Marketing/BD activities:  - Come up with ideas to ramp up sales (app/website based orders)  - Manage our relations with affiliates/partners/agencies as per the requirement  The candidate would get to don multiple hats, at different times or even at the same time. We would prefer a candidate who is enterprising, who is interested to work in a fast-growing and challenging startup environment, and who would act as a brand evangelist.  We are a young and energetic group of people trying to expand the business at a breakneck pace, looking for a smart, internet and mobile savvy person who would help us achieve that.
