Business Technology Group Overview :

ZS Associates' Business Technology Group focuses on strategizing, designing and building marketing and sales technology solutions to improve commercial effectiveness. The types of solutions include enterprise information management, reporting, analytics, CRM/SFA and business process automation enablement. We provide a complete spectrum of business technology solutions, from strategy and roadmap definition to full implementation and on-going operations. Our team possesses deep expertise in leading analytic, business intelligence, CRM and system integration technologies, which we apply in a pragmatic fashion to create and deliver optimal architecture and implementation solutions.

Job Description :

- The position will Apply technology advancements, concepts, solutions/tools to a business context and/or environment and create conceptual model for its use to solve a specific business or technology problem.

- Proven leadership skills to build consensus on strategies. Ability to work with client architects and managers to define technology roadmap

- Lead feasibility analysis, select the technologies that provide the best solution and identify the products available that will best fit the solution proposed

- Design the solution taking advantage of the existing assets maintaining a balance between architecture requirements and specific client needs

- Identify new areas where we can help clients to implement technology solutions

- Researching and Evangelizing on the use of the BI platform for strategic decision-making

- Identify the new market trends in the BI industry and lead the effort to develop ZS POV in the upcoming technologies

- Participate in cross-functional technical discussions with local and remote groups to brainstorm and finalize technology solutions

- Ability to articulate leading business issues and trends, including the associated technology implications within one or more industries

- Sound understanding and experience with IT economics - including popular financial measure such as CFROI, TCO etc

- Should able to lead the strategy and architecture discussions with CTO and other senior architects in a client meeting

- Lead and manage team of 4-5 architect consultants and provide leadership in creating prototypes, conduct proofs of concepts, evaluate options with pros and cons and provide recommendations through design, development and/or Operations of complex technology environments (programs, applications, systems and/or infrastructure)

- Travel within continent or to other continents (as needed) to work with client and provide technology expertise to other ZS teams

In addition, this person will help lead a firm-wide initiative in improving ZS- IT capability for clients

- Lead a domain in strategy and architecture practice

- Contribute to ZS IT capability building knowledge creation

Qualifications :

- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is mandatory

- 10-15 years of hands on experience in Datawarehousing with large IT services or Consulting organizations.

- Minimum 5 years of experience managing large technology engagements

- Have architected and designed 4 end to end BI solutions across multiple technology and platforms

- Minimum 4 years of experience in IT strategy or IT management role

- Prior experience in managing technology assessment and developing strategic recommendations

- Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, leveraging information and technology

- Experience with IT organization design and management principles/techniques(ITIL, ITSM) as well as IT management tools(e.g. Mercury, PlanView, ProSight, Niku)

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in interpersonal and written formats

- Help with the selling process including design and solution approaches for the proposals and giving product demos

- Ability to work within a virtual (off-shore) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.

- Prior experience in sales and marketing would be a plus

- Keep up to date with technology trends of the platform and related complementary and supplementary technologies, processes and tools
