Head, Market Intelligence Team  ZS Associates' Knowledge Management Team provides a range of Business Research and Knowledge support solutions to ZSs clients and key internal stakeholders. The Market Intelligence function is a part of the KM team responsible for working with ZS leaders to position us in a favorable way versus competitors in the marketplace, especially with clients.  The Head of the Market Intelligence team will lead the MI function and be responsible for building the capability and deliver strategic insights on ZSs competitors to help us to win more business. The Head will also be responsible for building relationships with external partners who could support the process.  In specific, the Head of Market Intelligence will :  Build the MI Capability :   - Suggest the size, structure and skills of the MI team to deliver on its mandate  - Lay out the role/job descriptions for the different members and their key responsibilities  - Work with KM Lead/HR/Recruiting to source the right talent (internally or externally)   Define the MI processes :   - Work with ZS leaders (Executive/ Client/ Practice/ Business/ Solution/ Industry) to understand their requirements  - Suggest touch-points for the MI team and agree on MI deliverables as part of the Annual Planning process for these leaders  - Propose and build SWAT teams to bring Comp Intel insights into large deal situations  - Develop metrics to assess effectiveness and success of the MI team over time  Understand ZSs competitors :   - Work with MI team to research ZSs competitors (including desk research and discussions with ZSers)  - Partner with external firms (e.g., Kennedy, TBRI) to develop insights on these competitors  - Institutionalize process to compile Comp Intel insights from client discussions (including win-loss analyses of RFPs)  - Work with HR/Recruiting/Marketing/others to define processes for collecting Comp Intel, e.g., from interviews, new hires or events  Partner with ZS Leaders :   - Collaborate and work with ZS Leaders to incorporate insights from Comp Intel into their area  - Enable Client leads and Practice leads to better price and increase win ratios of proposals  - Create broader awareness of MI capability across ZS through roadshows, webinars, participation in summits and other activities
