Job Description: Business Associate   Who are we-   ZoomRx is a consulting and analytics firm focused on helping global Fortune 500 life-sciences companies use data to solve pressing business problems. Karthik Kalyanam & Sriram Subramanian founded ZoomRx in 2009 with the goal of leveraging the data science and mobile revolutions to change the way life-sciences companies conducted business.  With the demand for ZoomRx doubling every quarter, the need for brilliant Business Associates in our consulting team has become very acute.   What does a Business Associate @ ZoomRx do-   As a Business Associate working with international clients, you will do all what Deep Thought (http://goo.gl/oP8bs) could and couldn- t do. You will ask the ultimate questions, crunch numbers and give ultimate answers for our clients!  A short and far from exhaustive list of what the you will do follows:   - Understand client business needs, data, and processes  - Craft custom analyses of complex, dynamic data (largely in Microsoft Excel)  - Draw insight from various, disparate sources of data / information  - Design impactful, concise presentations to deliver powerful insights to our clients and the rest of the ZoomRx team. Remember, we will not settle for mediocrity.   - Create and consistently manage strict quality control measures   - Quickly adapt to a constantly changing set of tasks  - Parallel process multiple work streams   What are we looking for-   The BA should preferably have the following qualifications:   - Masters's or Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials; engineering, business, economics or other quantitative disciplines  - 6 to 24 months of business analytics, consulting or related experience; experience with market research, - healthcare and/or pharmaceuticals sales and marketing preferred  - Extremely high motivation and independent drive   - Strong adaptability and ability to work in a fast-moving environment   - Proficiency in common business software tools; proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel and MS Word is imperative   - Strong attention to detail and high standard of quality   - Ability to work in teams   Where?   You will work out of our office that is cozily located to Leela Palace, 41/1 (26), Vasantha Avenue I M.R.C Nagar I Raja Annamalaipuram I Chennai - 600 028  (In the US, we are located at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Cambridge, MA. It is a great location. ~25 biotechs are a stone's throw away. The Charles River is a few feet away. Our building is full of start-ups. As we said, it is a great location!)
