We have 1 very urgent position in one of the best and established brand in :-
POSITION - Zonal Sales Manager ( FMCG product segment ) - East ( 1 position )
REPORTING : National sales Head
BASE LOCATION : Kolkata ( for ZM East )
Ctc: negotiable ; depending upon current CTC, experience, interview status etc.
Job Specification :
- Create right infrastructure for managing and enhancing business in Zone
- Responsible for Sales Value & volume for Regular / Volume Building products
- Identification & Effective implementation of Major and Key Initiatives in the areas of Market Development, Distribution Expansion, WSS Management and Sales Operation
The above deliverables will be achieved through execution of the following:
- Define & monitor Work plan of Unit Heads
- Take ownership & corrective action of persistent competition affected areas, Low Base markets
- Drive effective implementation of HO Modules & provide feedback / suggestion for further enhancement
- Spotting good results and replicating success stories across the zone
- Working with the team in the market, guiding implementation and obstacle busting
- Drive effective channel management by covering gaps in market servicing, Outlet coverage gaps, Gaps in Productivity & Range Selling
- Drive implementation of Gap Report by effective and timely replacement
- Maintaining relationship with client World through regular contact programmes
- Scheme performance analysis and feedback to HO
- Management of undesired inventory & overdue receivables
1. Monitor inventory pile up in slow & non moving SKUs and drive actions to reduce
- Aged inventory (Greater than 120 days)
- P stock
- D stock
2. Drive collection of overdue receivables in case of persistent exceptions
3. Drive implementation of commercial policies in case of persistent exceptions, specifically for, (a) Balance confirmations (b) PDC (c) - C- forms (d) Cheque Bounce / Blacklisting (e) FFS
- User/Influencer/Dealer Management
1. Drive implementation of key dealer program including (a) FCC (b) Office Supplier (c) Small Town Wholesaler (d) School Suppliers
2. Interact & periodically engage with end user/influencer panels for seeking feedback & suggestions
- Recruitment and retention of direct reportee
- Retention and recruitment of Unit Head & equivant & teams below them.
- Adherence to policy & timelines
Requirement :
Industry : FMCG ; PAINTS only ( from the best of brands ) ; Building materials, Plywood.
Educational Qualifications : MBA from a reputed institute.
Currently, handling a zone ( preferably ) with a business volume of nothing less than 100 crores. Candidates handling multiple states in a zone can also apply . Stability & organic growth is a very important criterion for cv shortlisting.
